Women and Children at Dixon Place

I'll be participating in a workshop performance of Jack Sullivan's Women and Children, directed by Nikolai Mishler. The showing will occur in the Dixon Place lounge at 7:30pm on Monday, January 16. Free admission.

In the kitchen of a house somewhere in the United States, three generations of women gather to play a game of cards, and prepare for a confrontation. In a secluded army prison somewhere off the grid, three young guards gather to play a game of cards, and prepare to torment the Prisoner strung up above them. And in the kitchen of yet another house, a loser to the game is finally declared. Set over the course of two decades, Women and Children is a play about the things we are willing to give up in order to survive.
